Jonas Dupuich – Building Branch Structure in Pines
November 19, 2021 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Most of us have trees with branches that just don’t have the right shape. Somewhere in the process of developing branches we missed something – a secondary branch we should have removed or made the new leader, or tertiary branches not wired properly. Jonas is going to talk about and demo how to make these critical choices.
The second part of the evening will be a workshop where members can practice what Jonas has just discussed – and get advice when unsure how to proceed.
Learn By Doing
Please bring in ONE pine tree for this purpose.
Before the meeting –
- Identify one or two branches to focus on – not the whole tree.
- Make sure you’ve cleared out last year’s needles.
- Bring your tools and wire so you can make the changes recommended.
