Story of the Tree

In 2001, these trees were purchased from Tassajara Nursery during a Kusamura club field trip. Over the years, the forest has grown and shrunk as individual trees came and went, and the composition has been reconfigured more than once to accommodate changing growth habits.

This year, the planting was reconfigured again — this time with a simulated river winding through the scene.
