2025 Consignment Form and Instructions

One of the benefits of membership in Kusamura is the ability to sell items, e.g. trees, pots, books, or tools, at our yearly show for a 75%/25% split.  Yes, you keep 75% of the pre-tax sales price of the item.  We ask that you limit this to 15 items from any member.  If you have more items than this, please contact me directly, or consider donating the lower value items to the club.  If you want help pricing the items, we will do our best to help.  If you want to re-price items, e.g. on Sunday, simply make up a new tag and revise the forms, which we will have at the sale table.  We will not give a buyer a lower price without your OK.

Enclosed is the 2025 Consignment Form and Instructions.  The form is the same as last year, but I have included an example consignment tag in the instructions.  We need each member to fill out the form, and make sure that you list your current contact info at the top of the form.  Don't assume that your long-suffering Treasurer has this information memorized.  If you can't print out this sheet at home, we will have blank forms available on Friday.  We need the information on this form, not scribbled on some other scrap of paper.

You will need to fill out individual consignment tags to attach to each item.  These will be available Friday pm.  If you have the form filled out, it is pretty quick to fill out these tags.  The tags for the member consignment items will be GREEN this year.  This should make it easier for us to sort out the un-sold consignment items to be returned to the members on Sunday at 4 pm.  It is a bit of a mad house then with taking down the show and re-boxing the unsold pots, etc. 

We can always use help at the sale table, or helping folks perusing the sale items.  We look forward to a successful sale, and good consignment items contribute to the range of items available to our customers.  I try my best, but it usually takes me a week or so to get the checks out to the members.
