Story of the Tree

This Creeping Juniper began its life as an in-ground landscape plant, growing freely until its transformation in 2022 during a demo led by John Thompson.

The demonstration marked its first steps into bonsai training, setting the initial structure and unlocking the potential hidden in its natural form.

Since then, the tree has begun its evolution into a cultivated work of art—shaped not only by tools and wire, but by the shared learning and community spirit that defines a good bonsai demo.

From the ground it came, and into the bonsai world it grows.
