Story of the Tree

This little friend was purchased at the first Pacific Bonsai Expo from Eric Schrader of Bonsaify. The leaves have always stayed beautifully small — well suited for mame scale — but this particular tree has its quirks: it is prone to dieback and, to put it diplomatically, does not appreciate wire.
