Story of the Tree

This tree was grown by Geoff Campbell of Hokumen Bonsai and purchased in 2023 at the Redwood Empire Bonsai Society (REBS) Annual Bonsai Show. According to Geoff, it was developed purely through a prune-and-grow method — no wiring — taking full advantage of the Korean Hornbeam's natural growth habit.
