Story of the Tree

This tree was brought from Taiwan — legally — during a business trip. In 2023, I cut it back hard to encourage back budding. It worked, mostly: the back budding came, but the apex did not survive the cutback.

The major branches were too large to bend with wrapped wire, so guy wires have been used to pull them down into position. The tree is still finding its way.
