This Trident Maple forest was purchased in 2021 at Bonsai Mirai, where its story began as part of a larger grouping of trees.

The original forest was eventually broken apart—and from that larger composition, this smaller group of trees was selected and planted together, forming its own cohesive and intimate landscape.

Now trained as a unified forest, the trees share a sense of balance, rhythm, and direction, embodying both their shared past and the new story they’ve begun together.

It’s a grove shaped by choice, placement, and the quiet artistry of seeing potential in a few—rather than many.
