Story of the Tree

This tree was the demo tree at the 2023 Redwood Empire Bonsai Show, styled by Ryan Neil. I bought raffle tickets — and won.

Since then I have wired and worked within Ryan's original styling concept, developing the tree toward what it is today: a tree that evokes the wild, windswept northern California coast. It is still very much in development, but the direction is clear.
